MAKEUP DILEMNA OF THE WEEK
Dear Holly,
I have dark brown hair and even darker eyes. Every time I go anywhere to have my makeup done, the artist always uses browns and peaches. I really want to try something different for spring. Can you help?

Dear Loves America Ferrera,
One of the biggest misconceptions in makeup is that you have to "match" your eye and/or hair color and clearly that is not working for you! Given your eyes and hair are brown, you can wear blue, purples, and green eyeshadow and really make your eyes pop, not your eyeshadow.
 I suggest using a kit such as Holly Doss' "Something Blue" (shown right). The various shades of blue will be gorgeous on your brown eyes and the pink cheek colors will totally add a babydoll effect.
 Keep your lips light pink and glossed up. LIne your lips with "Jeremy" Basic Lip Liner and fill in with "Brynne" lipstick. Top it off with "Elijah" Angelspeake Lip Gel.
